Caramoan is situated almost at the heart of the Caramoan peninsula which is at the southeastern tip of Luzon and occupied the lower part of the province, It is bounded on the north by a part of Garchitorena and the Pacific Ocean; on the northeast by the island province of Catanduanes; on the south by Lagonoy Gulf; on the east by the Maqueda Channel; and on the west by the municipality or presentation. The municipality is situated between 123° 50’E latitude and 13° 46’N longitudes.

Caramoan Peninsula is a hilly peninsula, with deep gorges and a rough, rocky terrain. There are approximately 71 kilometers of irregular coastline surrounded by the vast ocean, bay, seas and swamps. The place has a National Park which has caves, limestone formations, white sandy beaches, an islet lake and a subterranean river.
Climate
The climate of the Caramoan is tropical which is divided into wet and dry season. The climatic control over the two air stream systems produce the two distinctive variations in the climate, the monsoon and the Pacific tradewinds. From October to January, the northeast monsoon prevails, while the north Pacific tradewinds occur from February to September coinciding with the south tradewinds.
